Presentation of the Fair Play for Older Workers project in Brussels

Within the framework of the Fair Play for Older Workers project an event entitled “Ageing and Working” will be held on May the 15 th 2006 in Brussels, at the European Parliament building.

Fair Play for Older Workers is an initiative, co-financed through the European Social Fund under Article 6, whose overall aim is to promote the contribution of older workers within the labour market, namely in Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK.

The purpose of this event is to showcase the results and products developed within the framework of the project to representatives of the European Parliament.

VanDoorneHuiskes will present the Skills Analysis tool developed for the project. De Universiteit Utrecht will present the latest results of the Fair Play employers’ survey, carried out in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and Greece.

Mrs Helen Kokori - Councillor of the Municipality of Heraklion Crete will receive the Age Champion Award.

Furthermore, within the framework of the “ Employment Week 2006” exhibition, which will be held in Brussels between May the 16 th & 18 th 2006, the project partners will present/showcase the project's products and results at the Fair Play for Older Workers stand
